How we serve

Services for Veterans

Our primary objective is to bring Veterans, families and the community together through education.   Veterans Resource Network does this primarily through four means.

We hold a weekly meeting every Monday at 6pm CST at the Military Veterans Sevice Center, 2200 Harvel Circle (Havel & Bruin Bvd, Bellevue, Nebraska).  The purpose of this meeting is to connect with any Veteran, family member or community person that wants to.  We also share weekly activities and local event as well as offer peer support.  If you’d like us to come to your facility and offer training, please contact us here.

Peer Support

No matter your background, where you came from, or what you’ve been through, your experience is valuable.   Peer support teaches you how to use your background and connect with another sharing similar experience.  We have a wide variety of Veterans from Vietnam to Iraqi Freedom, both combat and non combat who are available to talk.

We offer a wide variety of training that maybe useful for any individual or organization.  Below is a non-exhaustive list of what we have to offer:

  • Peer Support
  • Veteran Advocacy
  • Familiarization on PTSD
  • PTSD In Depth
  • How Do You Talk to a Veteran
  • Mental Health
  • Wellness and Fitness

If you’d like us to schedule a talk, please contact us here.

Neutral Meeting Ground

Veterans Airfield is a spot in Omaha dedicated to neutral Veteran, families and community supporters.  We are building the area up to facilitate a gym and a meeting ground for folks interested in connecting.  For more info, click here.
